Federica Stoppa awarded Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Practice Award at the MetricStream 2018 Summit!

The CWF is proud to congratulate one of our Committee Members, Federica Stoppa, for receiving a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Practice Award at the MetricStream 2018 Summit, in Baltimore, Maryland.  Federica was recognized for her excellent project execution on June 5, 2018.

Federica worked with a team of S&L colleagues and business leaders to develop a system for assessing and evaluating strategic suppliers, along with a scorecard that provides detailed insight to their performance across the business.

As a result of this work, it’s easier for DuPont businesses to create stronger, holistic and long-term relationships with suppliers, who in turn have a better understanding of our needs and expectations. This strategic sourcing model enables value creation initiatives to flourish, allowing both parties to look for areas of improvement across existing products and services, as well as the potential addition of potential new product and service offerings.

“We’re extremely proud of the work of Federica and her team have done to advance our insight into supplier performance” says Shelley Stewart, DowDupont Chief Procurement Officer.  “This team was extremely committed to developing a solution that brings added value to our sourcing organization, and the suppliers who work with us, creating a win-win situation for everyone.”

Federica competed for this award with hundreds of other companies performing similar implementations in the areas of governance, risk, and compliance.  The MetricStream Summit event recognizes only the top five percent of truly exceptional projects.
