Careers can be a challenge. Like a top athlete, one needs to stay sharp, in shape, react instantly, be strategic, predict the next steps and act accordingly! Self-control and optimism are important, too, especially when things look bleak.

How do you manage the challenges in your life? Are you able to maintain your high performance at all times, or do you sometimes find yourself overwhelmed, lacking energy, lashing out to loved ones, and on the edge?

Many human reactions come from learned behavior, and they can be changed by effective interventions. Stress reactions can be down played through specific actions.

This workshop is a first aid kit to deal with overwhelming situations. You will learn how to recognize stress at its earliest stage, well before it becomes anxiety, burn-out, or worse. Then you will practice methods that work best for you, and make a rapid change possible through direct influence at a neurological level.

In order to rewire the brain and be effective, the personal method needs to become an habit. Hence we will practice (alone or in pairs) and find out which exercises work best for you (ex. visualization, body-linked approaches, etc).

Attend the workshop, receive and e-book with all the exercises, and change your life and the way you deal with stress forever!

Afke Van Mansum qualified in the field of psychology after a corporate career of 20 years.

Her previous profession brought her global responsibility, status and money – everything she wanted to achieve when she was younger.

However, while leading global teams in regional and global leadership functions, she realized her goals in life had changed and that a new passion developed. She now wanted to let people shine and become their best selves. She wished to allow people she worked with to find ways to make their lives easier, in the same way she had learned that “The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind[1] does exist.

So she studied psychology, worked with family constellations, transactional analysis, NLP to eventually qualify as hypnotist and NLP life coach.

With her corporate background and love of Six Sigma, LEAN methods, efficiency and effectiveness, Afke is well equipped to facilitate people’s blooming.

[1] The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a 2004 American film that follows an estranged couple who have erased each other from their memories, then re-met and started dating again…
