Alma Moya Losada is the founder and CEO of Aequaland EdTech Start-up.

Alma had just turned 30 when she started to build this ground-breaking social impact start-up in Lausanne. She put her savings into it, while ambitioning to create a Storytelling Game App for children to learn inclusion, creativity & critical thinking and sustainability matters.

After two rollercoaster years, during which she experienced the ups and downs of entrepreneurial life, Alma can be proud of having achieved her dream and ambitions. Thanks to her tenacity, her perseverance, but also to a handful of women who believed in and supported her, Alma was awarded the ‘Global Generational Inclusion Award’ by WomenTech Network in 2020 and boosted the company’s value to four millions.

We will be discussing with Alma all things about start-ups, female founders, business angels and the place of women in EdTech.

Béatrice Jacot will bring her testimony as co-founder, investor and BOD at Aequaland.

With a successful career of more than 40 years in banking and finance, Beatrice strives to providing guidance and inspiration to women in business using skills from her executive directorship experience. As an advisor, mentor and coach she aims to drive and guide start-ups and individuals towards success.
