SUMMARY:Kick off the Summer - La Vivance: the feeling of being alive in your body
DESCRIPTION:As part of our effort to support women’s communities during the pandemic\, half of the registration fee will be donated to one of our favourite charities\, SOS Femmes in Geneva\, http://www.sosfemmes.ch/\nAfter this unprecedented period of turbulence\, we all need to find more serenity and make up for the experiences we missed out on while at home. Summer is often the time for vacations. Learning how to expand on each and ever experience is key to a fulfilling life and as a start – the summer. \nLa Vivance is a key Sophrology term that means: the meeting of body and mind in the depths of consciousness. \nThrough this workshop\, Diana offers to demonstrate how we can live the more fully in the present moment\, to live a richer life\, to have more fulfilling sensory experiences\, to feel alive and fully fulfilled in our body. \nThrough Sophrology and other tools\, we will learn how to enhance our experiences and embody them. We will experience the connection between the mind\, the body and the spirit\, focusing on the 5 senses\, enhancing this sensation and anchoring it. \nA unique workshop to prepare you to fully enjoy the summer and then plan to start back with confidence and serenity. \nDiana Ritchie \nDiana Ritchie\, is the owner and founder of SCC Sàrl\, a group of career centres aimed at “Boosting professional performance” and “Be yourself with skill”. \nPrior to establishing SCC Sàrl 10 years ago\, Diana worked for 14 years in Banking\, Finance and Law. \nShe holds a BA in Economics from McGill University\, Canada and an LLB in Law from the University of London\, England. Diana is presently certified and accredited within: Career Coaching\, Sophrology\, is registered with ASCA as a practitioner and teacher\, Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)\, Certified Masters Hypnosis\, Power of words\, Insights Discovery\, Business Model Canvas methodology; Systemic Change Coach and others. \nAs life is a series of experiences\, people want to experience life to the fullest. Diana teaches people the required skills by combining practical business strategy and coaching with a variety of techniques to engage both the conscious and the unconscious as key partners for success and happiness. So that people can make permanent mindset\, thought\, words and perspective changes to “experience” life as they choose. \nwww.scc-centre.com

SUMMARY:Communication strategies for fearless women: How to stand your ground in tricky situations
DESCRIPTION:As part of our effort to support women’s communities during the pandemic\, half of the registration fee will be donated to one of our favourite charities\, SOS Femmes in Geneva\, http://www.sosfemmes.ch/\nProfessional women are often confronted with micro-aggressions\, everyday sexism and stereotypes. Just telling ourselves that we need to toughen up and ignore behaviors like “mansplaining” or inappropriate jokes only helps to normalize and even encourage toxic behavior. \nWomen need to put their foot down here\, because these challenging situations can be very disruptive for their success\, their careers and their peace of mind. \nBut how can women defend themselves without being labeled as bossy and unlikeable? \nIn this workshop we will use the power of storytelling to enter an open discussion and explore the best practices of the participants.  The objective is to walk away with a smart defense toolbox powered by collective intelligence.  Bettina will add in her proven three-step fierce grace method of effective power scripting\, controlling the situation with courage and confidence and learning how to speak-up for ourselves and for others\, without turning the “bad guys” into enemies. \nBettina Palazzo: \nBettina Palazzo has been researching\, teaching and consulting in business ethics for over 25 years. She is especially interested in the gray zones of ethical decision-making and the psychological dynamics that lead to unethical behavior. For her\, unethical organizations make people unhappy.  The desire to create corporate cultures that make work fun and meaningful instead of dreadful and depressing drives everything she does. \nWhen she is not helping companies to create an ethical culture or teaching at various Swiss universities\, she enjoys reading Italian novels that play in Rome or scout the most interesting locations and events in Lausanne. www.bettinapalazzo.com

SUMMARY:Sophrology helps to improve our well-being – join us to practice it!
DESCRIPTION:There are multiple applications for Sophrology that determine the techniques used. In its most generic sense\, it consists of easy to do exercises that support our overall well-being. At this virtual workshop\, we will focus specifically on a few exercises for being calm and happy. \nYou just need a chair to sit comfortably and enough space in front of you to stand up and not touch anything if you move your arms around or stretch out your feet. Have also pen and paper handy\, to write a few things down for yourself at the end. \nSpecific sophrology techniques will apply to the evening’s exercises so we understand the concepts and why we are doing the exercises. Concretely\, we will practice body scan\, full body tension release and a mood lifting exercise. \nJoin us to practice together! \nGloriya Collet – After almost 15 years of professional experience in a multi-national finance environment and all its related stress\, Gloriya discovered sophrology and its many personal and professional benefits. She took the time a few years back to get a diploma from the International Sophrology Federation and now enjoys both activities simultaneously – finance on one side and sophrology on the other – where she guides and supports clients through their own personal and professional challenges.
