SUMMARY:Femmes dans les STEM et FemTech
DESCRIPTION:Innovation\, technologie et santé se conjuguent au féminin. Pourtant\, le monde dans lequel on vit a été majoritairement bâti sur des données masculines. L’absence des femmes dans la réflexion et notamment l‘absence des données genrées a des conséquences\, qui peuvent être fatales\, sur la vie des femmes chaque jour : des infrastructures et équipements jusqu’à la recherche médicale. \nHajar El Haddaoui et Sophie Revaz incarnent la volonté de booster l’innovation avec et pour les femmes… car dans un monde censé fonctionner pour tout le monde\, il faut que les femmes soient présentes et que leurs besoins soient pris en compte. \nRencontre avec deux personnalités d’exception \nLes deux ont fait des études de droit\, mais aucune n’a suivi le parcours classique dans la magistrature. L’une fait carrière dans les télécommunications\, l’autre dans les assurances. L’une issue de l’immigration\, ayant sillonné plusieurs pays avant de s’établir en Suisse\, l’autre 100% enfant du pays. \nSi différentes\, et pourtant si semblables dans leur engagement\, Hajar El Haddaoui et Sophie Revaz seront nos invitées ce 19 septembre pour discuter de la place des femmes dans la science et du «gender data gap». Car l’innovation et la santé sont des facteurs d’égalité inéluctables. \nHajar El Haddaoui\nArrivée en Suisse en 2010\, après un début de carrière chez Bell Canada\, elle perce un premier plafond de verre chez Swisscom\, où elle occupe plusieurs postes à responsabilité\, jusqu’à celui de Head of Region West &Tessin. En 2021 elle est sélectionnée parmi les 6 finalistes de Women in IT Awards\, qui couronne les femmes «IT leaders» exemplaires pour les générations suivantes. \nDiplôme de MBA en poche\, en 2022 elle rejoint NTT Ltd\, filiale de l’opérateur japonais NTT Corporation\, une des quatre plus grandes entreprises de télécommunication au monde\, dont elle devient Directrice Principale pour la Suisse. \nSophie Revaz \nMembre de la Direction Générale du Groupe Mutuel depuis 2013\, Sophie Revaz est en charge des départements dédiés à l’analyse des données\, au remboursement des prestations\, aux négociations tarifaires et au trafic des paiements & contentieux. Elle a auparavant été en charge du département juridique et des ressources humaines. \nDepuis mars 2021\, en fière ambassadrice de son entreprise\, elle chapeaute le premier accélérateur suisse de start-up femtech – Tech4Eva – lancé en collaboration avec l’EPFL Innovation Park et visant à faire émerger des solutions à des problèmes de santé spécifiquement féminins. La première édition de Tech4Eva (2021) a retenu 30 projets qui ont levé 60 millions. \nPortées par une forte volonté d’améliorer le monde\, Sophie et Hajar joignent le geste à la parole par leurs actions\, à l’égard des femmes et de leurs problématiques de vie\, de carrière\, de société.  \n

DESCRIPTION:Dear CWF members\, \nMentoring is one of the most powerful activities for the individual’s personal and professional growth. A privileged relationship develops between the mentee and mentor\, usually a person with valuable experience in an area the mentee would like to develop in.  The mentor brings a new perspective to the mentee and provides her with a base to her reflections\, to reach her specific development goals. For more information\, click on this link. \nMentoring offer\nBacked by long-term experience\, CWF offers its members mentoring programs matching high-potential women with senior/executive mentors to help foster development and growth. \n\n\n\n\nCorporate Partners\nIndividual Members\n\n\nMentees\nAny woman employee of CWF Corporate Partner\nCWF Member\n\n\nMentors\nSenior Leader\n(woman or man)\nCWF Member\n\n\n \n\nTimeframe\n\nApplication deadline\n\n\nDuration\n9 months\n\n\nSpring Program\nApril-December\n28th February\n\n\nFall Program\n\nNovember-July\n30th September\n\n\n\nFALL Program: \nIndividual members: The number of mentees will depend on the number of registered mentors. You can register for mentor or mentee or for both roles. \nCorporate Partners: Each company identifies mentors and mentees candidates (balanced).
