DESCRIPTION:Règle sanitaire en vigueur pour les événements du CWF: 2G = ouverts aux personnes vaccinées ou guéries. \nApéritif et repas assis\, port du masque obligatoire dès qu’on est debout. \nDans le cadre des 40 ans du CWF que nous célébrons en 2022\, nous avons le plaisir de vous dévoiler le partenariat philanthropique local que nous allons déployer en soutenant\, avec vous\, l’association découvrir. \nCe partenariat se place sous le signe du partage\, de la solidarité et de l’échange qui sont des valeurs qui nous tiennent à cœur au CWF. \nL’association découvrir œuvre à accompagner les femmes migrantes qualifiées résidant à Genève et ailleurs en Suisse romande dans leurs démarches d’insertion professionnelle. \nL’association fête ses 15 ans d’existence et nous souhaitons allier nos forces et nos compétences lors de cet anniversaire commun pour offrir des actions ciblées qui mobilisent l’expertise et le professionnalisme de nos membres. \nNous aurons le plaisir d’accueillir pour ce déjeuner Rocio Restrepo\, directrice de l’association découvrir qui nous fera le récit de son parcours personnel poignant qui l’a menée à créer l’association afin d’aider les femmes à surmonter les obstacles liés à l’intégration professionnelle dans un nouveau pays d’accueil. Elle nous fera découvrir son association et les actions de soutien mises en œuvre afin que ces dernières trouvent leur place en Suisse et puissent participer activement au développement économique et social grâce à leur potentiel professionnel ainsi qu’à leurs expériences. \nNous vous dévoilerons enfin les actions que le CWF souhaite mener en 2022 pour soutenir découvrir avec votre engagement\, votre envie de partager vos connaissances et votre savoir au service d’autres femmes.

DESCRIPTION:“We do not see the world as it is\, we see it as we are”– Anaïs Nin\nThe subsequent multitude of perspectives existing in an international and multicultural environment provides a fertile ground for creative problem-solving and innovation. It can nevertheless also be a source of misunderstanding if different modes of perception\, mental  models and communication styles aren’t anticipated and recognized. \nDuring this highly interactive workshop we will look at concrete examples on how our background and culture in which we grew up do impact the way we perceive behaviors and communication patterns. Easily applicable intercultural tools will enable participants to make sense of their own experiences working with individuals from around the globe. \nThe participants will walk away with immediately useful guidelines on how to bridge cultural differences and to develop their intercultural competences on a daily basis. \nLet’s have a look at cultural differences with fresh new eyes ! \nAriane Curdy is the director of her own company CULTURE RELATIONS\, specialized in intercultural perspectives crucial to success in an increasingly diverse and complex world. \nFood and Economic Security expert in developing countries by first profession\, she worked in humanitarian field for more than 15 years\, and conducted missions in over 20 war-torn countries in Africa\, Asia\, The Balkans\, The Caucasus\, Central Asia and the Middle-East. She notably spent 2-3 months every year in Afghanistan from 1988 until 2000 for the ICRC. \nAfter obtaining an executive degree in management and organization development in 2000\, she specialized in intercultural dynamics at work and has been providing intercultural services for multinationals\, governmental and non-governmental organizations\, as well as sports organizations and private companies since 2001. \nwww.culture-relations.net
