SUMMARY:Becoming an Agile Leader: Knowing How to Increase Your Team's Level of Engagement
DESCRIPTION:In a highly competitive environment where business and models are constantly being challenged and shifted\, managing with systems and process prevents organizations from becoming agile enough to cope or even anticipate. \nSo… what kind of leadership can maximize agility? \nWith many types of leadership today\, our November luncheon explores the idea of Fair and Caring Leadership\, and how it can boost team engagement and your own personal satisfaction. Along with this\, our guest speaker\, Prof. Raphael Cohen\, will identify some of the parameters that improve or reduce trust in a professional environment\, share if the underlying logic and foundation of Fair and Caring leadership suits you\, and provide an understanding of how it can dramatically reduce gender discrimination.   \n\n\nThis thought-provoking luncheon addresses key leadership factors for obtaining “psychological ownership” and engagement. Participants will benefit from the real-life experience of a seasoned entrepreneur who has learned the hard way what it takes to have followers as well as the difference between being a manager and leader. \nAbout Raphael H Cohen \nRaphael H Cohen is the Academic Co-Director of the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Entrepreneurial Leadership\, an eMBA of the University of Geneva.  Raphael conceived the IpOp Model\, which is presented in his book “Concevoir et lancer un projet”.  It has been a best seller since its first publication\, and has also been published in Spanish (Oportunidades Ganadores) and in English (Winning Opportunities).  Additionally\, Raphael has also developed the fair and caring leadership with its corresponding tools to maximise employees’ engagement.  His tools also boost (in larger organizations) innovation\, entrepreneurial behaviour\, selling effectiveness\, business development as well as employees’ commitment.  Raphael is also a serial entrepreneur\, an active CEO and business angel.
