D’abord en tant que thérapeute\, puis engagée dans la politique et surtout en œuvrant pour la solidarité avec les plus démunis. \nEn tant que directrice de la Fondation Planètes Enfants Malades\, elle est amenée à lever des fonds pour financer des programmes d’animations et d’activités qui sont développés et offerts aux enfants traités ou hospitalisés au CHUV. Améliorer leur quotidien et leur bien-être\, soutenir les familles défavorisées et la recherche scientifique sont également des projets que Paola gère et dirige avec beaucoup de passion. La motivation\, la détermination\, le bon sens\, l’empathie et la vision globale sont les rouages qui conduisent au succès. \nLa plus belle des récompenses sera toujours le regard à nouveau brillant et rempli d’étoiles des enfants. \n
