DESCRIPTION:On ne parle jamais de leadership au masculin\, alors pourquoi vouloir associer leadership et féminin ? Un bon leader\, quel que soit son genre\, est une combinaison de qualités et compétences innées et acquises\, uniques pour chaque individu. Pour autant\, quelle femme ne s’est pas vue prodiguer des conseils du type « Il faudra que tu sois plus dure… plus distante… plus autoritaire… (rayer la mention inutile) » au moment d’une prise de fonction de leader dans son organisation. Par ces « conseils »\, on lui demande de se conformer à un modèle de leadership masculin très stéréotypé. \nActuellement Directrice Générale d’Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty en France (AGCS)\, Corinne Cipière a été encouragée par certains de ses sponsors\, à des moments clefs de sa carrière\, à exprimer son plein potentiel en restant fidèle à elle-même. Depuis\, elle est animée par la volonté de transmettre cet élan aux femmes dont elle croise le parcours\, notamment via le mentoring. \nVenez écouter Corinne Cipière nous relater son parcours\, tant professionnel que personnel. Elle a également été la Présidente de l’Union des jeunes assureurs et réassureurs français (Ujarf) entre 2014 et 2015. \nCorinne Cipière a effectué l’ensemble de sa carrière dans le secteur de l’assurance qu’elle a débuté en 2002 chez Marsh. DESCRIPTION:Careers can be a challenge. Like a top athlete\, one needs to stay sharp\, in shape\, react instantly\, be strategic\, predict the next steps and act accordingly! Self-control and optimism are important\, too\, especially when things look bleak. \nHow do you manage the challenges in your life? Are you able to maintain your high performance at all times\, or do you sometimes find yourself overwhelmed\, lacking energy\, lashing out to loved ones\, and on the edge? \nMany human reactions come from learned behavior\, and they can be changed by effective interventions. Stress reactions can be down played through specific actions. \nThis workshop is a first aid kit to deal with overwhelming situations. You will learn how to recognize stress at its earliest stage\, well before it becomes anxiety\, burn-out\, or worse. Then you will practice methods that work best for you\, and make a rapid change possible through direct influence at a neurological level. \nIn order to rewire the brain and be effective\, the personal method needs to become an habit. Lead by facilitator and coach Anna Krebs\, we will explore the Consensus Workshop method and share tips and tricks regarding more participatory meetings. \nAnna Krebs works in facilitation\, organisational development and gender equality. Through her work she wants to help create ripples of positive and sustainable change. Her aim as a facilitator is to enable participation\, co-creation and learning. Anna has worked for various organisations such as Terre des hommes\, Initiatives of Change\, cinfo\, Collaboratio Helvetica and Proactive Life Coaching. SUMMARY:Le CWF fête la rentrée et met le réseautage à l'honneur
DESCRIPTION:C’est la rentrée avec son lot de bonnes résolutions : le réseautage en fait partie. Venez participer à cet atelier interactif dans le cadre enchanteur du CDLT. \nLa soirée commencera par un accueil au champagne dans le magnifique jardin clos (18 à 18 h 30)\, et se poursuivra dans les étages de la maison de maître pour l’atelier interactif durant lequel Rudolf Klaus partagera avec nous des anecdotes\, tuyaux et autres conseils pour se sentir à l’aise en réseautage. Un « Oh mon Dieu ! » désespéré a été sa première réaction\, il y a bien 10 ans\, quand il a réalisé qu’il devait réseauter. En effet le plus grand obstacle à notre succès dans le réseautage\, ce sont bien nos croyances limitantes que nous avons en la matière ! \nCette soirée sera également l’occasion de profiter d’un cocktail dînatoire à partager entre les participantes : autre manière ludique de comprendre comment profiter de ces moments de convivialité pour étendre son réseau. \nL’atelier sera dispensé en français\, cependant la langue utilisée pour les exercices est à choix : des groupes seront formés selon les préférences linguistiques. \nRudolf Klaus \n\nAprès 30 ans passés dans l’univers bancaire\, Rudolf Klaus a choisi de devenir indépendant pour vivre de sa passion : devenir formateur en management\, gestion de projet\, communication\, relations interculturelles\, etc. Il s’est rapidement rendu compte que pour faire vivre son entreprise et trouver des clients\, il était essentiel de savoir réseauter. SUMMARY:Mindfulness - the How and the Why ?
DESCRIPTION:Today’s reality includes significant pressure\, an information overload and constant distractions – often leading to a sense of overwhelm. \nMindfulness training takes a practical approach to addressing all these challenges and more. It is completely secular (non-religious) and practiced by people from all backgrounds around the world. An ever-growing number of companies such as SAP\, Google\, LinkedIn\, Spotify\, Adobe and Apple are offering mindfulness programs for their employees due to the many positive benefits for the employees and the organisation. \nIn this workshop you will learn mindfulness tools and techniques that can help: \n\nReduce stress and anxiety\,\nImprove focus\, listening and decision-making skills\,\nIncrease productivity\,\nPromote creativity and innovation\,\nImprove resilience\, health and overall well-being.\n\nResearch from participants of 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) programs worldwide have consistently reported an increased ability to manage: stressful situations\, anger\, fear\, anxiety and depression – both at home and in the workplace. Participants have also reported an overall improved quality of life\, improvements to working memory\, less emotional reactivity and\, last but not least\, more effective communication (in both speaking and listening). \nMindfulness is simply paying attention in the present moment to thoughts\, emotions\, physical sensations and breath. While reading or hearing about it provides one way of knowing what it is – the only way to truly understand mindfulness is to try it! \nThe workshop is highly experiential. You will leave not only knowing how & why mindfulness works\, but also with a few different mindfulness exercises you can start doing on your own right away. \nIf you’d like to experience some of these benefits for yourself\, and are curious to learn more\, you are warmly invited to attend this workshop. There will be a good mix of practice\, discussion of the science behind it and also time for any questions you may have. \nNo previous experience required – simply an open mindset. \nSceptical? Four words: Give it a try! \nNeil Truncik is a young professional with over a decade of combined experience with yoga and mindfulness meditation in Canada\, the United States and now Switzerland where he resides. He teaches the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course to other business professionals and conducts mindfulness workshops to companies throughout Switzerland. He also teaches at a local hot yoga studio in Lausanne and is a certified RYT 200 yoga instructor. Les nombreuses audiences auxquelles elle a assisté lui ont permis de se familiariser en détail avec les problématiques du monde du travail et de l’éthique professionnelle. En 2011\, son Master en Sciences de la Communication et des Médias en poche\, elle a fait ses débuts de journaliste chez Elle et Paris Match Suisse. Depuis 2015\, elle écrit régulièrement dans les pages du Temps et de Bilan. \nDe mars 2015 à décembre 2018\, elle a été responsable du cahier Carrières qui paraît tous les vendredis dans le journal Le Temps. Ses papiers ont été repris par différents médias\, dont le New York Times et le Courrier international. Alors que son activité de greffière-juriste consistait essentiellement à réparer certaines injustices\, en tant que journaliste elle intervient en amont\, en sensibilisant employés\, patrons et professionnels des RH aux pistes à explorer pour favoriser le bien-être et l’épanouissement au travail.

DESCRIPTION:Although the term was coined in 1964\, it was only in 1995 that “emotional intelligence” entered the public lexicon\, thanks to Daniel Goleman’s book on the topic\, Emotional Intelligence: Why it Can Matter More than IQ. Since then\, schools\, businesses\, and the media have come to recognize the importance of these “soft skills”\, and more and more leaders are looking to engage with their emotional intelligence to succeed. \nThe CWF WAVE Conference in January brought in a variety of experts who spoke about impactful leadership through emotional intelligence\, which is often defined as the ability to \nRecognize\, understand and manage our own emotions \nRecognize\, understand and influence the emotions of others  \nDaniel Goleman writes that effective leadership through emotional intelligence consists of the following capabilities: \n\nIntrapersonal\n\nSelf-awareness\nSelf-regulation\nMotivation\n\n\nInterpersonal\n\nEmpathy\nSocial awareness and communication\n\n\n\nHow can you begin to hone these skills in your work and personal life? \nWhether you were able to attend the WAVE conference or not\, this interactive workshop is a chance to put some of that theory into practice. Focusing on the interpersonal aspects of emotional intelligence\, you will train to be more in tune with one another\, listen to what is said and what is unsaid\, and learn how to gauge whether your messages are being received accurately. \nThe workshop will help you notice the myriad ways others are communicating with you\, both verbally and non-verbally. Fun\, interactive\, participatory exercises will have everyone on their feet. DESCRIPTION:Modernising tradition: A journey of technological and cultural change \nLloyds of London: this great\, British and global institution has its roots in marine insurance and was founded by one Edward Lloyd in London’s Tower Street in about 1686. \nFast forward to today and there are about 85 syndicates managed by some 56 managing agencies that collectively write over £30 billion of gross premiums on risks placed by 287 approved brokers. Half the premiums come out of North America and about 30 per cent from Europe. \nHowever\, history and numbers are only part of the story. Dame Inga Beale\, Lloyds first woman CEO in the insurance market’s 328 year history\, will tell us her personal story of changes – cultural and technological – which were necessary to bring this great institution into the truly modern age. \nDame Inga’s illustrious career includes such prominent names as the Prudential\, General Electric (insurance division)\, Converium\, where she led its successful turnaround\, and the Zurich Insurance Group. DESCRIPTION:Dear CWF Members\, \nToday marks the closing day for registering to the CWF mentoring programs. \nWe aim to match high-potential women with senior executive mentors. Mentoring is one of the most efficient activities for the individual’s personal and professional growth. A privileged relationship develops between the Mentee and Mentor\, usually a person with broad experience in an area the Mentee would like to develop in.  The Mentor brings a new perspective to the Mentee and provides her with a base to her reflections\, to reach her specific development goals. The Mentee could aspire to the same king of professional role as the Mentor. DESCRIPTION:Le domaine de la philanthropie vous intéresse ? Après le grand succès rencontré par la table ronde organisée le 5 février dernier autour des Conseils de Fondation\, le CWF a le plaisir de vous convier à plonger au coeur de la Fondation PARTAGE\, Banque Alimentaire Genevoise\, en présence de plusieurs membres du conseil de Fondation. \nCet événement sera l’occasion de comprendre en détail la création de Partage en 2005 par 5 membres fondateurs : l’Armée du Salut\, Le C.A.R.E.\, Caritas Genève\, les Colis du Cœur et Emmaüs\, et le fonctionnement au quotidien d’une telle organisation. \nAssociation à l’origine\, Partage est devenue une fondation en 2016 afin de pérenniser son financement et assurer la longévité de sa mission. \nProgramme de la soirée \n18 h à 18 h 30 : Apéritif de bienvenue \n18 h 30 à 20 h : \n\nVisite des locaux de la fondation animée par Marc Nobs\, directeur\, et Anne-Lise Thomas\, responsable de la communication et des recherches de fonds\nTable ronde axée sur les témoignages de membres du conseil de Fondation\, dont les 4 représentantes féminines : Pourquoi ont-elles accepté de s’engager auprès de Partage ? Comment ont-elles pu contribuer à développer les actions de la fondation ? Concrètement\, comment fonctionne le conseil de fondation ?
