If you wish to be on the waiting list\, please send a message to administration@cwf.ch. \nPublic speaking is unusual and most people do not like doing it\, especially in international business when people sometimes have to speak in a foreign language. \nDuring this workshop\, Michael McKay of McKay’s International Corporate Communications & Public Affairs\, will help you improve your public speaking. \nMichael will provide participants with practical guidance on how to structure a speech or presentation\, capture the attention of listeners and influence them by giving a strong impression. DESCRIPTION:Irenka Krone-Germann \nIrenka Krone-Germann est co-fondatrice et co-directrice de We Jobshare Sàrl avec Razvan Oprea et co-fondatrice et directrice de l’association PTO (Part-time Optimisation\, go-for-jobsharing.ch) –  qui vise à promouvoir de nouveaux modèles de travail flexibles tels que le job et top sharing en Suisse. \nElle est titulaire de différents diplômes universitaires dont un doctorat de l’Université de Genève pour ses recherches dans le domaine de l’économie du travail Elle est l’auteure du livre “Temps partiel en Suisse\, Pertinence\, impact et défis”\, Ed. Peter Lang. Elle a également codirigé l’ouvrage collectif sur le job sharing publié chez Ed. L’Harmattan Paris. \nIrenka a plus de 13 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du job sharing. \nSandra Gliffe \nSandra a pratiqué le job sharing avec succès pendant plus de 7 ans à un poste de management de dimension internationale dans un grand groupe du Nasdaq. C’est son expérience personnelle du job sharing qu’elle vient partager avec nous aujourd’hui. \nSandra est coach en leadership – notamment en leadership féminin – et fondatrice d’Entre Parenthèses. Elle est convaincue que promouvoir la diversité au sein d’une organisation passe aussi par l’acceptation et l’implémentation de nouvelles pratiques telles que le job sharing. Cette expérience lui a permis de grandir dans ses différents rôles de chef d’équipe et de continuer sa carrière tout en travaillant à 60%. DESCRIPTION:Human voice is a powerful tool of persuasion and leadership. Its impact on the hearer is immediate. \nThe « vocal image » we project to the outside world is as important as the visual image. Scientists have identified significant relations between acoustic features of the speaker’s voice and her credibility and persuasiveness. Yet\, the assessment of vocal competences has so far been subjective\, intuitive\, and lacking scientific basis. The questions therefore are: \n\nCan we scientifically assess our vocal skills?\nWhich vocal features are related to charismatic leadership?\nHow can we improve our persuasiveness ?\n\nThis interactive workshop will lead you through many subtleties of the human voice as a powerful tool for leadership and persuasion. You will discover the strategic use of voice in speech communication and ways of creating impact by the tone of your voice. She is author of numerous publications. DESCRIPTION:As a WOB event\, this conference is open to men and women.\nEach CWF member can invite a friend at member’s price. \nAnne Hornung-Soukup\, Chair of the Board of TPG\, the Geneva Public transport company\, and a long-time member of the Career Women’s Forum\, will share with us how the TPG adapted their response to the Covid-19 crisis. \nThe TPG has the mandate to manage mobility in Geneva: it has over 2000 employees covering 80 different professions and manages a fleet of 450 vehicles that\, in total\, drive the equivalent of 750 times around the Earth every year. \nHow did this large public industrial company react to the sudden shock of a global pandemic\, when major adjustments had to be made quickly\, efficiently and safely?  And\, even more importantly\,  what will mobility look like in a post-Covid world?  Anne is well-placed to share how the TPG’s experience has lessons for other enterprises and even smaller companies in our “new normal” environment. \nAnne Hornung-Soukup has held the position of Chair of the Board of the TPG since July 2016\, and is passionate about new urbanism and the role of public transportation in solving the important and urgent issues of climate change\, public health as well as the essential part it has to play in creating efficient mobility for a thriving regional economy. \nAnne grew up in the Chicago area\, then studied in South Africa\, Massachusetts\, Washington D.C.\, Paris and Geneva before settling in Geneva. \nFollowing a period of 16 years working in portfolio management at a Geneva private bank\, Anne set up her own firm with a partner in 1999.  After 11 years running the company\, she joined a larger portfolio management firm as a Partner until her retirement from finance\, end 2017. \nOver the years\, Anne has presided\, been on the board of\, or been active in many Geneva associations including the Career Women’s Forum\, American Citizens Abroad\, the American International Club\, the American International Women’s Club and others. \nAnne is dual national Swiss-American and she and her husband have two grown children. \n

Mentoring is one of the most efficient activities for the individual’s personal and professional growth. A privileged relationship develops between the Mentee and Mentor\, usually a person with broad experience in an area the Mentee would like to develop in.  The Mentor brings a new perspective to the Mentee and provides her with a base to her reflections\, to reach her specific development goals. The Mentee could aspire to the same kind of professional role as the Mentor.
