SUMMARY:Essential Steps to Presenting with Impact
DESCRIPTION:Confident presenting and public speaking is an essential business skill. \nStudies show that most people dread giving a presentation or speech. The best ideas can get lost unless you communicate them with impact. \nThe good news is that presenting is a skill not a talent. Everyone can improve with practice and by following some essential steps of preparation. We propose to take you on a journey of transformation\, giving you the tools and confidence to make compelling presentations. \nIn this 2 ½-hour workshop you will discover how to present with impact and learn how to: \n\nPrepare an audience centered presentation\nManage audience attention span\nMake your presentations memorable and engaging\nUse your body language and voice more effectively\n\nThe workshop is interactive and participatory and it will appeal to those who like to learn by doing\, as well as reflecting and analyzing best practice. You will get the opportunity to practice some of the techniques and receive feedback from the trainer. \nAlso\, you will leave with an easy to use checklist of the essential steps of preparation as well as greater confidence in presenting with impact. \nClaire Doole\, a former BBC journalist\, actress and public relations professional\, has empowered many senior executives to present with impact. She helps them structure their presentations\, create memorable messages and deliver them with impact. Claire also runs media training\, moderating and writing workshops. She moderates high-level panels\, produces video\, digital and written content and organises media relations for conferences. A British/Swiss national\, Claire is fluent in English and French. \n
