SUMMARY:Closing registrations to the CWF 2020 mentoring programs
DESCRIPTION:Dear CWF Members\, \nMarch 1st marks the closing day for registering to the CWF mentoring programs. \nWe aim to match high-potential women with senior executive mentors. Mentoring is one of the most efficient activities for the individual’s personal and professional growth. A privileged relationship develops between the Mentee and Mentor\, usually a person with broad experience in an area the Mentee would like to develop in.  The Mentor brings a new perspective to the Mentee and provides her with a base to her reflections\, to reach her specific development goals. The Mentee could aspire to the same kind of professional role as the Mentor. She could want to expand specific skills for her career advancement: self-confidence\, financial mastery\, leadership\, etc. Her goal could also be to expand her network in a specific area the Mentor is well introduced in. \nThe CWF offers two different mentoring programs. \nMembers can participate to one program only per year. \nYou can find the details of each program below. \nIf you have any questions\, or comments please do not hesitate to contact us at administration@cwf.ch. \nYours Sincerely\, \nThe CWF Team \n__________________________________________________________________________ \nIndividual Mentoring Program: \n\n\n\nAvailable to\nCWF members\n\n\nMentor\nCWF member\n\n\nMentee\nCWF member\n\n\nDuration\n9 months\n\n\nTimeline\nApril-December\n\n\nDeadline for registrations\nMarch 1st\n\n\nLink to submit applications\nIndividual Mentoring Program Form\n\n\n\n  \nYou can register for mentor or mentee or for both roles. The 2020 cycle is limited to 10 mentees\, subject to the equivalent number of registered mentors. Depending on the registrations\, mentor/mentee pairs will be formed. Each mentee will receive the name of 2 to 3 potential mentors and will have to contact these potential mentors to evaluate if they are suited to make a pair. \nHere is the timeline of the program: \n\n\n\n1st March\nRegistrations to the program are closing\n\n\n9th March \nThe name of the potential mentors are sent to the mentees. The latter have 2 weeks to reach to the mentors and establish a preference order.\n\n\n23rd March \nThe mentees give their preferences for the pairs.\n\n\n1st April \nThe definitive pairs are formed and the participants are informed.\n\n\nDecember\nEnd of the program\n\n\n\n__________________________________________________________________________ \nCross Company Mentoring Program:\n\n\n\nAvailable to\nCWF Corporate Sponsors only\n\n\nMentor\nSenior leader from another Corporate Sponsor (man or woman)\n\n\nMentee\nWomen from the Corporate Sponsor (CWF member or not)\n\n\nDuration\n9 months (6 meetings at least)\n\n\nTimeline\nApril-December\n\n\nDeadline for registrations\nMarch 1st\n\n\nLink to submit applications\nCross Company Mentoring Program Form\n\n\n\n  \nEach company identifies 2-5 mentors and mentees candidates (balanced). Each candidate fills in a profile form with professional and personal information. \nHere is the timeline of the program: \n\n\n\n1st March\nRegistrations to the program are closing\n\n\n19th March\nPairs are formed\n\n\n27th March\nParticipants are informed about their counterparts\n\n\n1st April\nStart of the mentoring partnership\n\n\nDecember\nEnd of the program\n\n\n\nFor more information on the Cross Company Mentoring Program\, please read this document.
