Women's Added Value in the Economy (2009)

The Career Women’s Forum was founded in 1982 as an association for professional and independent women in management positions. The mission is to reunite professionally active women, to facilitate networking while supporting and promoting gender diversity in all economic, political and social areas of society.

Throughout its evolution, with an ever-increasing presence of its members amongst senior managements of large corporations, CWF developed a « Corporate Member » formula. Today, CWF has 12 Corporate Members supporting between 6 to 15 female executives each within their companies.

The Corporate Members of the CWF are (in alphabetical order): ALCOA, Banque Cantonale de Genève, Deloitte, Firmenich, The Richemont Group, IBM, ICRC, Julius Baer Bank, Lloyds TSB , Mirabaud & Cie Banquiers Privés, Pictet & Cie and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

The CWF would like to demonstrate its appreciation to its Corporate Members, having recognized the added-value of gender diversity, by proposing to the senior management of these companies to participate in the first « WOMEN’S ADDED VALUE IN THE ECONOMY » Forum (WAVE) in a visible, active and exclusive manner. WAVE will take place on January 27th, 2009 at the Metropole Hotel between 3pm and 9pm.
