Mentoring UNIGE

Launched in December 2007 as CWF was celebrating its 25th anniversary, a mentoring program has been initiated by the committee in collaboration with the Geneva University.

Since then the program has been running for 3 consecutive cycles, and every year more than 30 executive women – CWF members – have been mentoring UNIGE students just at the moment when those are about to leave the academy and to start their career.

This program aims at offering students the possibility to benefit from the expertise of executives who were in the same situation a few years ago and who have made their way in the professional environment. A particular attention is paid to discussing the specific challenges related to the combination of a professional career with a family life.

Thanks to a close collaboration between the UNIGE Rectorat team and the CWF UNIGE mentoring team, the program now includes several opportunities for mentors to exchange best practices and useful tips, in addition to receiving a structured training on mentoring.
