Mentoring UNIGE

The newest initiative to have taken shape at the CWF is that of a mentoring program in collaboration with the Geneva University (UNIGE).

As part of a commitment undertaken in December 2007 at the 25th anniversary commemoration gala event, 25 CWF members will dedicate on a fully volunteer basis 25 hours of their time to coaching selected and motivated university students in their final year, both women and men, who seek advice on how to launch their future professional careers.

Such coaching will first take the form of a pilot program, with first results being assessed as early as June 2008, by the University faculty, the CWF committee, the mentors and, of course, the mentees.

Our hearty thanks go to the staff of the University who has supported this initiative right from its launch and to the dedicated CWF members who have so generously given of their time to encourage the future professional generation.
