The committee
The CWF Committee is elected by its members for a two-year term at the annual general assembly which normally takes places in March or April. The Committee presents its program for the term. At the following assembly, achievements are reviewed and updates are made to the plan for the second half of the Committee’s tenure.Committee members are elected for a period of two years and can be re-elected for one additional two-year term. There are a minimum of six members, including the mandatory roles of President and Treasurer. The President can serve a maximum term of 2 years, with a maximum renewal in the same role for one year and conditional to the fact that the total number of years combined in presidency and member of the CWF Committee does not exceed six consecutive years. Eligibility for positions in the Committee is open and can be addressed to the incumbent committee for review. Often, current members find their own successors and hence ensure the succession planning of the committee.
According to its bylaws, the Committee meets at least three times a year, although in reality, its members meet on a monthly basis.
